Our August 26th Pie & Ice Cream Social was a sweet success in every sense of the word. The energy at HQ was fantastic, the community showed up, and the results speak for themselves:
We also sold over a dozen yard signs — meaning Democratic visibility is spreading across Union County neighborhoods heading into November. Thank you to everyone who came out, contributed, and helped make it happen. This is what building a party looks like!

🚨 We Need You
We Need Poll Workers!
Are you at least 17 years old? Do you believe in free and fair elections? Do you want to earn a little money while spending time with your friends and neighbors? The Union County Board of Elections urgently needs poll workers for the November 3rd general election — and we need Democrats at the polls.
Our elections depend on poll workers, and both parties must be represented. Here’s what you need to know:
- Must be at least 17 years old and a US citizen
- Attend a 1-hour training session — earn $25
- Work a full day on Election Day (6:30 AM – 7:30 PM) — earn $133
- Thanks to Trump, that’s enough for a tank of gas — and then some!

Interns Wanted at HQ!
Are you a student or young professional interested in politics, advocacy, or community organizing? Union County Democratic Party HQ is looking for interns to help us through Election Day!
This is a hands-on opportunity to see how a local party committee operates during a real election cycle. You’ll gain experience in voter outreach, community engagement, and grassroots organizing — and it looks great on a resume.
- High school students welcome (with adult on same shift)
- College students especially encouraged — great for poli sci, public affairs, communications majors
- Flexible hours available
- Printed instructions provided on site
